The game is compiled in three languages and allows you to explore the history of Kazakhstan from ancient times to the present day in an interactive and competitive way
The ULYTAU board game is an author's development of the history teacher, head teacher of the Canadian International School Astana, Raushan Akimbekova.
The purpose of creating an innovative educational game is to form national consciousness and respect for the historical heritage through the popularization of the centuries-old history of the Kazakh people, as well as key historical events and great personalities who determined the fate of the country from ancient times to the present day.
The ULYTAU game has already established itself among schoolchildren. Children note that while playing, they remember historical facts better, and the game helps high school students prepare for the UNT (Unified National Test). There are currently 120 questions about the history of Kazakhstan in three languages in the game. The game was developed on behalf of the “Public Foundation “Charitable Foundation “The Ulytau Educational Foundation” in Kazakh, Russian, and English.

In November 2024, the first ULYTAU Championship was held, which was attended by more than 40 schools in Astana
