The mission of the “Public Foundation “Charitable Foundation “The Ulytau Educational Foundation” is to combine traditions and experience, based on the unique culture of Kazakhstan, to change all aspects of education to prepare young Kazakhstanis for success in a rapidly changing global reality.
The foundation focuses on different levels of education as a central component of sustainable development.
Bringing together leaders of modern educational trends, experts in various fields of education, authors of modern popular programs, theorists and practitioners, big business and local executive authorities, our foundation implements projects that lead to qualitative and profound changes: from reforms to transformation.
The Ulytau Educational Foundation's activities are diverse: we hold an international scientific and practical conference for teachers, an International Chemistry Olympiad, implement eco-projects, etc. The foundation's most actively developing projects are the Ustaz Ulytau Center for Pedagogical Transformation and the Canadian International School Astana.
In May 2025, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan highly appreciated the work of the foundation, awarding M.M. Khan, Director of the Foundation, Candidate of Sociological Sciences, with a Certificate of Honor for significant successes on the path of spiritual and social development of independent Kazakhstan and a significant contribution to its prosperity. In May 2025, the foundation's staff was awarded a Letter of Thanks from the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kazakhmys Holding LLP.
